The  rear window motor has stopped working unfortunately the window is stuck in the down position ive removed the door panel and membrane but can't see a way to get the window closed as a temp fix any ideas?

Is it possible to get to the actual motor connections without going via the contoller? You might be able to put 12v across the motor direct if you can.  :-/  :-/

thanks andy tried that the motor seems dead good idea though cant see what holds the glass in place if i could free it at least i could close the window

The front windows are 'glued' to a rail that's part of the up/down mechanism. The pop rivets need drilling out to remove the motor anyway, so once that's out of the way you could use a tried & tested brush handle to wedge it up!

glue! that 'l be why it won't shift then i'm gonna block it in till the morning then i'll find a brush handle
