i have disconnetcted multi plug and found one of the 4 pins has corroded and ended up stuck in the female half of the plug. Does anyone know if i can just connect the cables directly to each other without having the plug in the line? I can't see that it does anything other than serve as a connector... :-/

Could do that, or speak to someone on here who's breaking one, and put a new plug in - but then I like things to look factory...
