Do you find it's below a certain RPM level that it seems to lose power?

Mine is sluggish until it hits 1750-2000 rpm when the turbo kicks in but my MAF is unplugged. If I plug it in it's like it's in limp mode and mine doesn't show any codes either ;)

there is a 20mm metal pipe which joins the exhaust manifold to the inlet manifold. It's secured at each end by a collar. The pipe can be seen under the plastic cover at the front of the engine. This pipe commonly fractures where it is clamped to the exhaust manifold, sometimes both ends. Soot is a good indicator of failure. Give it a tug (cold engine) if it moves it needs changing. I find my tractor tows the caravan much better with a gas tight exhaust (it's quieter too). These pipes are about £53. from a main dealer I have just changed one, easy, also make sure that a 'p' : clamp is used there is a bracket fixed to the pipe for it.

I have just had to replace the exhaust recirculation pipe on mine, but, I found no major loss of power until it completely broke through.  I initially had a strange snarly hissy noise at around 2500 rpm and very soon after (within 20 miles) the pipe completely split and at that point I had major power loss and a massive amount of noise, very obviously exhaust noise.  As I had to use the car for a journey, I also had a layer of soot for on the drivers side wing (within a further 100 miles).  If you are unfortunate enough to find this pipe has ruptured, My first stealer I dealt with hadn't got the part in stock and quoted me 6-8 weeks before they could get the part.  Fortunately another stealer had one in stock, but, not gaskets, they have to be ordered in.  It is also a stealer only part...

What gaskets? No mention made of this by my local dealer, is there a part no.? Their defence I suppose will be 'you only asked for the pipe mate'
