Nope. EGR helps with economy. Diesels use EGRs much more than petrols

Seam to remember G had his blocked off?  :-/
Not for economy ;)

I seem to recall he now runs with egr

for economy egr on and working properly!! for power and slightly hotter running engine egr blanked off!! :y

 :o Well within I'd say.  More like in the 1st week. Autobox on my '94 Elite lasted less than 200 miles.

on mrs omegatoys it was exactly 94 miles!!! box cried enough!!!

OK, EGR = exhaust gas recirculation?

Where do I find it, how do I identify it, and how do I block it (Guessing its as simple as a fold and tape job).
