Hi guys need some advice, just found a 2001 mv6 3.2 auto for sell for £2300. I was hoping you could let me know what to look for in the test drive before i consider buying. It has 75k on the clock. Hope you can help ;D

where are you from?   does everything work in the car. does it wander over the road, the usual things. when was its belt changed etc.

As it has done 75,000 it will be due a new cambelt in 5000 miles. Apart from that expect the usual problems: leaking cam cover gasket, tracking, eml on for pre cats. Can all be sorted. I would offer 1.5 grand and go from there if the car is basically sound. Keep a grand in hand for 'issues'
