You probably know what im going to say,yes its good old wd40,and actually used it earlier on to remove pen from the back seat off my 5 year old.

Hi Dave

Think it may have been me . The one that i found the best was 1001 carpet cleaner in the trigger bottel.

Got them and the carpets looking like new
