« on: 16 July 2009, 16:01:37 »

ok so i just done my first read out and got these codes:

12
144
145
31

i think that 12 and 31 are normal but not sure about 144 and 145.
i didn't have my car running and it is a 3.0 v6 1996

have i got anything to worry about?

Many thanks

12 & 31 normal if engine not running.

144 No immobiliser signal recived - Faulty unit or break in wiring
145 Incorrect immobiliser signal received - Faulty unit or break in wiring

Were you reading codes because your car won't start or has a problem?

the 14x ones can be ignored - old codes stored, they seem not to clear.

Why?  The car runs, so the 31 isn't an issue.
