Noisey springs

On my dads 98 2.5, when the whell is turned the front spings move in a jerking motion with a loud cluncking sound. What is it that knckered this time?  I've only just done the drop links :-/

Could be the rubbers where the spring sits on or the top part where its joined to the body. are the springs ok not broken?

Get someone to turn the steering as you listen, you should be able to pinpoint where the nois is coming from. not sure if they can go at the same time I guess its possible though.

Did that, defo comming from both front springs :-/
