Think James means plugging a Tech 2 or "My Naff Code Reader" into the car to see what the actual car temperature is and not what the gauge is showing, but if the gauge was right before surely it just wont have gone out of sync?

My money still on the rad or fan fuses :y

   Ah right Daz, gotcha :y.

As for the gauge i did have them out when i tried fitting some stick on white dials which meant removing the pins and the pointers :-[ so that may have something to do with it :-/.

If at the end of the day all else fails then I'll get it tested as James suggests to be safe :).
