One fuse covers both, so if the passenger one is OK, you should look at the connection under the seat. It is possible for the elements to fail, but not likely both have failed in the same seat.  ::)

Its more than likely the elements but they are quite easy to replace if your seats are cloth :)

The elements are sown into the leather seats so I would just push a new element between the leather and seat foam, it might take a bit longer to heat up though

Would really like to repair the old one,i have heard its possible if its just the sires whatever they are,i think they are the wires that run down the back or something, anyone done this as i need to fix because it irritates me knowing something doesent work on my car. ::)

Both elements going at the same time? Bit of of a coincidence but perhaps it could be.  ::)

The base & lower back heating elements are wired up in series with other, so if one fails, you've loose both.  :y
