Cam Belt Change
« on: 21 July 2009, 13:33:47 »

Hi I'm about to do a head gasket change so I thought I would do the Cam Belt at the same time. I have a copy of your excellent DVD on Cam Belts. I have bought a genuine cam belt from my local Vauxhall dealer and noticed it has no direction markings on the belt. Does this mean it can be fitted any way round?

It shouldn't matter wich way you fit a new belt, it's only when you refit an old belt that  you should take note of the original direction.  ;)
