Mended.i think.
« on: 05 August 2009, 12:27:56 »

I had a problem with the engin on my 3lt v6 with missing when idling. Well i changed the maff sensor again and this one works fine. The car feels totaly diferent, much more responsive.
However i still occasionally get a bit of a bump when the auto gearbox changes and sometimes still feels as though its still in top when it should have changed down.
Any Ideas anyone. :-/

I think you can get the gearbox ECU read for codes. But don't quote me.

I agree with MutantCav, check the gearbox oil levels, if the gearbox is still the same then get the codes read by a proper Tech2.

thanks fellers. I had the fluid changed by a garage that is unfamilliar with these cars so i will check the fluid. I suspect that this could be the cause as i bought the fluid for them to do the job and got more back than i expected.
dunno why i didn't think of that before.
