rear seat belts
« on: 03 August 2009, 09:12:15 »

I am  thinking of trying to convert my rear seat belts from 2x 3 points and a lap belt , to three 3 x point belts.

Am i right in thinking that by changing the seat back to one which has the middle belt built in(when i find one) it can be just swapped over? or is there an issue with doing this?or  has anyone done it? it is a 99 estate.

Even my crappy Aastra estate has three 3 point seat belts in the back  :-?  :-?  :-? If not already fitted then I you're going to need the near side/centre seat back complete with seat belt reel.  ;)

Thats what i thought but will it be a straight swap over for the one with the third belt built in and or is the third belt bolted anywhere else or just in the seat back?

I'm looking to go the other way!

So, I have a CD estate with  3 x 3 points going spare.

Its cloth, and the belts are light grey
