ref omega 2.0

hi guys does anyone know what a 2.0 omega revs to the red line on the rev counter is about 6 but when i get to about 4/5 it holds back and feels like its on the limiter anyone any ideas

Symptons of cam sensor failure. Engine tends to max out at about 4500rpm. Have you paperclipped for any code :question

someone on another site told me you cant paperclip my model     its a facelift 2.0 cdx on a v plate

you cant do a paperclip test on the 2.2 but on yours you can mate. ;)
do the test and see if you get any codes.
if you do post them and we can give you more help.
but it does sound like code 19 crank sensor.

I had a similar prob with mine, it would drive ok till you hit 3500rpm then just splutter and give up, I got code 19, changed it and have no probs with it.
