urgent help please eml /egr

my eml is coming on intermittently,garage has found egr fault,it has just been cleaned and seems to be opening and closing,also still losing padal on clutch despite new master cylinder ,as car is taxi ive lost a weeks work any help please

only thing left to try is power bleeding but cant find local garage with one inc main dealer...................ps egr has no gasket is this correct only o ring ,could this be fault

EGR is meant to have a gasket...quick simple solution though is blank it off :y

yes i know but ones on ebay are for petrol ,do vaux sell plates
                               thanks

Cut out a section of coke can, double it up and use that as a blanking plate. Certainly works well for blanking off the EGR on the 2.5td.

   Doubt VX would sell something that would stop them selling new EGRVs ::).

  As for fitting a plate to yours, you can make one out of an old coke tin or similar object :y.

        To slow again ::).
