Cloth To Leather...
« on: 03 September 2009, 00:05:39 »

Hi guys,

How difficult to change interior on an elite from cloth to leather? Just a case of removing from runners?

The cloth seats are heated, are these specific? I.e does this make the swap complicated or would leather omega seats be heated?

As far as I know the earlier cars are very easy to swap over - straight swap of seats/doorcards.
The later cars had side airbags afaik and this obviously isnt quite so straightforward.
Someone with more detailed knowledge wil probably be along soon. :y

Correction,I think its airbags in the backs of the front seats to protect the rear passengers.

Did this last week,it's a straight forward swap but if you have airbags in the seats disconnect the battery for at least 30 minutes first before unpluging/connecting the airbags or you might set the bags off.
