How can I unlock my car?
« on: 03 September 2009, 08:12:17 »

Help! Went to start the car 2 days ago to find the battery almost flat. Didn't have time to sort in then. Locked the car on the remote. Today the battery must be dead as it wont open on the remote, it wont open with the key either. Anybody got any ideas please

The key will work. The key will be hard to turn, infact you will think the key will snap but it should unlock the door ;)

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have just tried that and it still wont open. The locking lever starts to lift but then something inside the lock clicks over and it wont turn any more. Do you know if there is a way to open the bonnet without getting in the cab?

It should open with the key hard to the right, the button may not pop up but if you hold the door handle open whilst turning the key hard right it should work.

Chris.

HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ONCE. MY WIFE GOT IN THROUGH THE BOOT WHICH UNLOCKED WITH THE KEY. THE CENTRE REST WAS NOT FASTENED AND SHE MANAGED TO REACH THE BUTTON TO LOWER THE REAR BACKREST THEN UNLOCKED REAR DOOR.
