Headlamp Adjustment

Are there headlamp adjusters on the 2.2CD facelift saloon as the haynes book of lies says otherwise

They're just the regular bulbs (not HIDS)

shouldn't all facelift models have xenon lamps as standard?

Are xenons the same as HIDS??
As the lamps i have are H1 bulbs. not the high voltage ones.
I found two adjusters on the top of the headlamp and i think i may have tweaked it enough.
I also have the 0 - 3 level switch in the cabin
