New job - fell through
« on: 05 December 2007, 06:38:49 »

Unfortunately, it was never meant to be.

After inverviewing me three times, and then telling me I was the best candidate - they have withdrawn the position due to some sort of silly financial restructure  >:(

They did talk about offering me an "alternative" ... but with the salary that came with it, I gave them a polite "no thank you"

So James is on the hunt again   >:(

I half suspected it might given the time its taken them to get back to you......but, its been a good interview learning experience for you which will set you up well for the next one(s)  :)

Bad luck.  :(

But look on the bright side - it sounds like it was down to them being a rabble rather than you not meeting the grade, so next time you'll be sorted :y

not much of a consolation but i suppose its good to know you were better than everyone else

if i was gonna lose out on a job, withdrawal of the position would be a good enough reason for me

i lost out on a job a while ago, of which i had no experience, the only reason i didnt get it was because a woman had already worked there before and got the job instead
