CODE 61 HELP
« on: 19 September 2009, 14:51:08 »

Im getting a code           61   Fuel Tank Ventilation Valve Voltage Low
does anone have any ideas what i can do to get rid of it??

It was fine last time i drove the car but its been off the road for a couple of weeks with the plenum and leads removed.  Put new leads on and fired up today with this code.   I've reset it a couple of time and it keeps coming back so it is current.
Any help or advice welcome.

Check the connection to the purge valve, rear of R/H cyl. head and vac pipe connections

I did check all of the vac pipes and found the one that comes from the purge valve was on the wrong on the plenum sorted that and no change but its very hard to see or get to the connector on the valve with the plenum on so it wasnt obvious.

Didn`t mean to sound sarcastic. Just meant whatever the code relates to have a gander in that general area :)
