Hi all,

Does anyone know where I would find the paint code on my 2002 model Omega? :question I've seen the posting which covers up to 2001 models, but the plate on the drivers door slam panel on my car only contains VIN & type approval info - there is a plate on the front crossmember, but it has loads of codes on it, and none of them seem to match with that list :-/ - I think the colour is Rubens Red, which was introduced in 2002.
If anyone knows that code, I could try and find it on the car - I'm wanting to get some touch up paint!

On the slam panel under the bonnet find the metal body coloured plate. In the centre of that plate is the paint code. E.G. the gold car I'm breaking says 68L which on the paint code list shows as Z489/68L Champagne Gold (met.). Paint code list is HERE but not sure if your car code will be on that list.

Thanks for that - Indeed, my colour is not on that list 

I'll see if I can make some more sense of the plate later

What colour is your car? I mean generically, black, blue, silver etc? We might be able to narrow it down a bit and help you find the correct code.

EDIT: Sorry, I re-read your post. I see you said it's Rubens red. I must've completely missed that, sorry.

I've managed to get the code now - for anyone who is interested, Rubens Red is 31U / 594
