ECU, me thinks....

Tech2 to prevent immobiliser issues?

Maybe also MID, but this is probably less important.

Might be worth putting the 3.0 clutch on too as the 2.5 one will struggle with the extra torque.

stright swop no messing if you use extendend plenum need to swop your 2.5 throttle body thats it ecu will work same !  :y

Both my v6's are short plenums mate
I've 2 choices on this one.  Try and make one 2.5 v6 that works or stick a 3.0 in and repair a 2.5 to sell on later.
 
Have you got a half decent 3.0 at your place ?

How much to do the job if so ?

at the end of the day I've had nothing but hassle since I got this car so I just want it reliable.
