Exhaust emissions problem
« on: 22 September 2009, 21:08:05 »

Hi! I'm new here. Just got a DTi GLS 2.2. Sometimes, when I drive, specially when I'm stuck in traffic, the light for the emissions goes on for a while, then goes off. Took it to a mechanic, but could not see anything wrong. Any suggestions? Thank you!!!

You need to get the codes read with a decent code reader :y

Hi Diabolico, welcome to OOF. As wellung says, you need the codes read to give you a clearer idea what's going on. Probably something or nothing tho, as mine is on and off more times than a tarts knickers LOL. Keep us posted as it all helps build up the sum total of all human knowledge as regards Omegas! ;) :y

I've took it to a garage, but the machine they had did not pick it up. I really don't know much about these things...  :(

Whereabouts are you? Someone may have a code reader local to you.
