coil pack
« on: 08 December 2007, 04:48:34 »

Hi, i would like to thank all who helped me with the coil-pack problem. After two months sitting in a small garage workshop in a village in the Algarve(Portugal) waiting for the part to arrive from Coventry by post (strikes ect),I finally got the car back on the road.
I now have another problem;the headlamp lenses have got slightly opaque and the local testing center say I have to change them, can the lenses be changed or maybe pollished clear, or does the whole headlamp have to be changed?
 Hopefully. tucker.

Give them a sand and polish.....start with some 400 grit wet and dry (wet), then some 800 and finally some 1200......then use a good cutting compound to polish them up (this is where the hard work is).....an all will be good again.
