Ouick Question
« on: 02 October 2009, 13:29:32 »

Might have the option of picking up a 2.6 facelift but it has the EML on.

Had it on Tech2 and i keeps bring up up Fuel Trim. Have changed the filter and also fixed a small vacum leak on top of the plenuim.

Anyone any ideas what fuel Trim could be

cheers
Andy

MAF is the favourite (they seem shite on the 2.6, 3.2 and 2.2's).....Tech 2 live data is your friend here.

Sure its fuel trim and not cat efficiency codes?

trouble codes are P0170 Fuel Trim malfunction Bank1
and P0173 Fuel Trim malfuncation Bank 2

We can clear the codes but they come back, somtimes after 50+ miles and other times less than three miles

Just want to get one over the workshop with you help :y

Cheers

Is it possible to get hold of just the sensor and reuse the body of the MAF? Is it any cheaper?
