Removing front section of fuel line.
« on: 13 October 2009, 12:39:11 »

How is this done exactly?  I'm trying to get the lines of the Elite, yet where it goes through the front chassis component just before it goes up the front wheel arch, it goes through a few holes.  These have some very very hard grommets in them, and I can't get the damn things out...

Any tips or ideas? Or is it just a case of cutting the old connectors off & fitting new ones again when fitted to another car??

Cheers

if yours are the rigid type, there are connectors, you have to undo them, either with the proper tool or a pair of pliers, and unclip the pipes from each other. :y

Undoing them wasn't the issue, it was getting the things through the chassis rails where they are fed...

Try some boiling water on the grommets Paul see if they soften up :y
