Rear View Mirror Blacks Out
« on: 07 July 2009, 17:49:40 »

My automatic rear view mirror diming has started happening during normal lighting conditions during the day.

Its just a small irritation but does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance

Back Again,

The air freshener was behind the mirror and was not blocking the little circular sensor on the face of the mirror. I removed it anyway but I am still having an intermittant problem with the mirror blacking out in normal light conditions. Any other ideas guys?

OK so, I removed the air freshener and cleaned both sensors and I'm still getting intermittant blacking out in normal daylight. Anyone got any other ideas? Or is it time to find a replacement?
