Hi!

Does anybody help me how can I test my actuators (one on the inlet trumpets and the other on the left side on the rear part of the motor)?There is a great description by Marks DTM Calib in the maintenance section about how need to connect the hoses, but I should know how does it work (and how could I test it)?
I've bought an Omega 3L facelift car with automatic transmission, and I used it 3 weeks, the average fuel consumption was 12,5 litre. I took it to service and now the fuel consumption around 14 litre, next to the same usage.So I think soemthing is wrong now.
When the mecahnic took out the trumpets the solenoid for the first actuator was disconnected because its electrical connection was broken, he replaced me with an another solenoid and now it's connected.The new solenoid came from an old type V6 (mine is facelift where are 2 vac tanks, in case of old type there are only 1 vac tank).
So I have 3 questions for experts here:
1.How could I test my actuators?
2.What should I check related to my fuel economy?
3.The solenoid for trumpet actuator in the trumpet same in case of facelift and old type Omegas?

My manual facelift 3L fuel consumotion was 11L anyway, but I know automatic eats more...but this 14L seems too much for me.

Hi
I'm assuming that's 14L per 100km, which on my shaky maths works out to 20mpg.  I get 17mpg driving round the Peak District with all its hills and 31/32mpg on cruise on motorways at a steady 70mph, so it depends on your type of motoring whether 20mpg is good or bad.

PS, Its just passed its MOT with excellent emissions results, so I guess the tuning is pretty well spot on.
