Wheel Hubs and bearings.
« on: 20 October 2009, 18:41:20 »

Hi guys im thinking of giving my my miggy a bit of tlc and sorting out the suspension and brakes. Looking at dropping the suspension 30mm all round so will be aftermarket parts for this.

Is their any advantage to aftermarket discs and pads? Or just stick with the GM setup?

Also i need to replace the bearings on the front were do i order these from or new hubs if cheap enough would prefer GM parts if anyone has prices and part numbers>

TIA Dave

I would stick to GM for the brakes, but go contitech for the bearings....try buypartsby for those...you may need to ring them.

Would it be easy to buy a complete hub? Any idea on price?
