« on: 22 October 2009, 16:21:45 »

PLEASE NOTE:- QUESTION ENTERED 21/10/09 at 20.39 WAS WORDED INCORRECTLY IT SHOULD READ:-
Problem with 2.6.Omega Starts from cold and runs smoothly.
However if any more than very light acceleration is used before 1500 RPM it misfires and engine management light comes on and stays on.  If you stop the engine, when you restart all is ok and runs ok.  after about 1500 rpm all is ok at hire acceleration and throttle response is perfect. have checked for air leaks, all ok, it passed mot 150mls ago with same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. I have done the pedal trick and fault reading 10 3 10 10 which says its a random missfire, is there any common faults that anyone is aware of that could cause this?
