I think it warns of traffic holdups a few miles ahead when your on the motorway. Mine keeps coming on and shouts at me when the radio is on, telling me to re subscribe. I don't know how much though.
There must be somebody in the forum that has it. ;D ;D ;D

It costs £30 for a year's subscription, which my work kindly paid for. It's got me out of a few jams, eg I'm at Heathrow and need to get back to Kent so could go either way - TM tells me there's stationary traffic for 10 miles at the Dartford crossing so I'd go via the Surrey stretch. Sometimes there's nowt you can do but at least you know how long a wait you're in for and can call someone to say how late you're going to be. Mind you I live near the Dartford crossing so mine never shuts up!

dont know how much for the year but it is on their web site, last i looked anyway.

It is usefull, informs of traffic on motorways and some A roads for 2 junctions range. Eg approaching the m4, 100 yards from  slough junction 6 this evening, it told of a serious delay relating to jcn 4 on the m25 , avoid, and free flowing traffic on the A404 at jcn 8 as well as reporting traffic flow on the m4 itself. Dead handy for me, but if you drive mostly round town it wont be that much help.

i had one in MV6, in my old tractor (now Squealeys) and in the Rover.  I find it useful, though not perfect - like satnav and the like its just another driver aid

As TB says really... It's not perfect but can be very helpful if on major roads a lot :y :y

I use it and IIRCC it's about £30/year or £55 for 2

Yes it is well worth it if you do a lot of motorway AND have a Sat Nav to get best out of situation.

TM alerts you to problems ahead and then you switch to SatNav to select alternate routes.

Has been well worth it for me over the years.

Easy to cut the wire, you just have to trace it first. Mine used to remind me to renew every time I turned the ignition on - GRRR!
