oil cooler pipes wont go back on

have changed the oil cooler and now when putting back together the back oil cooler pipe just wont line up to get bolt in.  Has anyone any ideas please?

did you release the pipes by the oil filter, or, bend them out the way above the cooler?

as long as they have not been bent they should go on fine, remember to use brand new banjo bolts, the old ones have a tendency to snap

leave the bottom bolts out, do the top one first them the bottom bolts? Maybe?

Have tried with bottom ones on and off and still wont fit.  It is about 10mm off centre to the right and just wont go any further.

You can't put it in upside down? You would know if its not in right when you put the cover plate back on

Pipes have prob got tangled while the bolts were out, you can change with the union bolts loose not out.  You might need to wiggle the pipes into position sometimes they get caught in the small gap between the block and the exhaust :y

Ok, locate the pipes in the block and insrt the hollow bolts around 2 turns.

Now fit the pipes to the oil cooler, you may have to wiggle and persuade them as they might have been bent by somebody else in the past.

Then tighten up at the block end as a last step.
