Very slim to no chance.  ;)  ;)  ;) :y
Possibility if it was a white car with holes in the roof. ;)

Virtually none, it was mainly the x police manual 3.0 which had the LSD.

the answer depends

If your question is which car is quicker for acceleration then a 3.0 auto is marginally quicker than 2.5 manual.

If your question is which diff, fitted to your 2.5 manual will give quicker acceleration, the answer is the one fitted! (I think)

Longer ratios of autos will hamper 0-60, but if you get a x-plod diff that would help.

Police autos have a shorter first ratio which aides 0-60, but you loose top end speed.

The man raises a fair point  :y Smaller wheels are a very headache-free way of improving accelleration.

Can someone with access to TIS post up the V6 diff ratios please?

Tunnie, you have it the wron way around; a 2.5 manual fitted with a 2.5 auto diff goes like a rocket because the auto diff is lower geared (4.22:1 compared with 3.9:1 for the manual). Fuel consumption is higher though.

I cant remember the 3.0 ratios, I think the manual is 3.7 but dont know the auto.
