Hi guys
New here and could do with some 2nd opinions if you have the time.
Approx 3 months ago I got the heater bypass valve changed.
Pretty much instantly the car developed a wicked miss-fire, sounded like a traction engine with a bunch of spanners lobbed in.
The miss-fire has remained but is inconsistent - it is generally there on start up but then usually clears after a few miles/mins.
Then the other day I was in the fast lane of the M1 and the engine just died. Electrics and everything else fine, starter motor fine etc.
Long story short - it starts when its cooled down, but is now rougher than a rough thing.
Reading other posts it looks to be crank sensor, so I did pedal test which seems to concur. However, it also kicked up a 560-system voltage and 230-fuel pump circuit error.
Just wanted to check if crank shaft sensor could have caused all of these issues or if maybe the ECU is playing up etc
Any advice would be V helpful
