ghost in my car ?

 hi
im a newbie to this site and have recently  ( friday ) became the owner of a ( y plate ) omega elite 2.5 and am still getting to grips it. but got into it this evening and a voice informed me i had missed a call ? but could return the call by phoning a mobile number?. idont know what the system is or how to access it any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like the previous owner has left a SIM card in the built in phone system .. :)  If you have the "radio handbook" it will explain all, but Elites of that vintage had a quite reasonable built in phone.

Does the bottompart of your radio look like this ??



If so you have the CCRT700 which has the built in phone .. :)

thanks for the replies, im pretty sure there are no bodies in boot but with halloween this sat you can never be sure,
  ive just checked my console and its a phillips ccr 2006 fitted ,does that have  a built in phone as well ??

This wouldn't be fitted to a Y plate would it?

Reading this thread made me discover that my alloys are 17s. All along I thought they were 16s. Lol!!! Thanks OOF!

Sounds like the traffic master to me. Do you have a button with a T on it, just left of the headlight switch. If so press it again, and she'll talk to you haha   ;D

I have the same with mine, and occasionally it will announce that the licence has expired. Just press the "Tm" button to the right of the steering wheel. :y
