have same problem did not replace sensor just unplugged it and bridged it across with piece of wire error message off bobs your uncle,don't see the need for it did not have it on my 2 litre so done away wiht it

:yand braking can be number of things wishbone,track rod ends,steering idler,or even brake disc warpped or faulty or nacked brake caliper

First advice must be stop driving the car untill the breaking problem is sorted out it sounds like a dissaster waiting to happen as well as illigal.

Thanks for the advice guys,I've finally had a chance to look at the car and ruled out discs,pads and wheel bearings.The wishbone on the drivers side looks a bit suspect so it might do with being replaced.While I am at it is t worth doing the other side?
