 >:(hi all again thought i had a exhaust blow till today when i got it up in the air.the state of it is unbelievable the previous owner has chopped the cats out and welded what looks like some scaff bar,
there are holes every where filled and was told could not be salvage and need an whole new system..
are you sitting down people £700.. i think more than the cars worth..but the thing is it has a new m,o,t so iam thinking it was a cash in hand job ..because my lights are wired dogey and no cats,  :-X :'(
plus an oil leak from some where but it was that bad when i looked under the car in the air could not pin point it..must have been leaking a while

As far as the exhaust goes the Eternal systems available on ebay get good reports on here. I made the mistake of getting Walkers centres on mine and I wouldn't recommend.

1) Get your exhaust from Eternal, its £120 cat back for V6
2) Contact one of the many breakers here for a pair of V6 cats

Should be able to do it for sub £200  :)

I think there are some legal things you can do too if you believe it shouldn't have passed the MOT and test date was within last month or so. Check your MOT papers it should be written there.
