Heater problem
« on: 27 November 2009, 23:18:53 »

The heater blows lovely and hot but only onto the windscreen when selected or straight out from the dash (middle and sides) when selected.
When I set the control to blow air downwards onto our feet, it just stays coming out of the ones above. The cold weather is arriving and there's nothing worse than a sweaty face and ice cold toes.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

is it buttons or knobs, if knobs it is the vacume pipe between the switch and engine line, or is the switch, if buttons it could be the servo.

It's circular knobs....when you say the vacuum pipe between the switch and engine line I'm afraid you lose me!....What switch and what is an 'engine line'?
Please forgive me my ignorance.

knobs mean that there is a fault with vacume pipe or switch, you will need to take the hole frunt off and find the pipe, some times it is the switch or times the pipe has come off or split, if it is the switch easy fix is to take the rubber with all pipes off and use some rubber glue and put back on to seal the rubber again, if the air pipe you will need to find where it has gone wrong. the air line come of the engine air line, if need more help pm :y
