Rejuvenating me old Miggy questions

Okay, so Hotel21 has helped diagnose my wishbones are shot recently and need replacing.  Having had a ride in his V6 estate it felt like a new car and have just about decided to go for lowered springs and new shocks all round. 
Plan is to take it to wheels in motion to get wishbones and springs, alignment, etc done.  Whilst I'm at it should I get anything else attended to?  The steering feels a little loose and I was wondering if it was worth replacing any of the linkages, rods?
Considering its eight years old and 94,000 miles does anyone want to talk me out of doing this?

Replacing the large front bushes on the wishbones with polybushes will stiffen things up , but be quick, we've just heard Powerflex have had a fire and have lost stock and tooling. It's a case of finding a distributor with stock.

Thankfully it's not an issue for those already fitted with Powerflex as they are highly unlikely to fail.
(Have I just tempted fate :-/) 

Having said that, there must be some other polybush manufacturers with Omegas in their range. Anyone know ?

Its barely run in!

I bought my last one at 130,000 miles/7 years old and gave up at 200,000 miles and 15 years.

I have just bought a 111,000 mile/6 year old Omega. I am going to give it a real pampering at 120,000 miles and expect to last just as long.

They were to order so unless the dealer has stock you are stuffed

LOL, I suppose with the support of the superb OOF members I can certainly keep her on the road.  Sounds like I should make the investment. Cheers.
