Key problem
« on: 29 November 2009, 21:31:23 »

One of my remote keys has stopped working, fitted a new key battery but it still doesn't work. What's the best/cheapest way of getting a replacement? Car is '99 Elite 3.0 with a 2 button key, many thanks for all help and suggestions.

does the led still light? Might just need a ''re-sync''. Key in ign, turn ign on & press one or other of the buttons. entral locking should lock & then unlock. Key is now ''re-sync'dd''
Your problem could also be that the battery terminals are loose on the pcb, in which case you put the key fob in a Jiffy bag & send to Martyn I for repair!  :y  :y  :y

LED doesn't light anymore, tried re-syncing to no avail. How much would vauxhall charge for a replacement? Thanks for the reply
