Battery advice
« on: 01 December 2009, 14:38:28 »

Tried searching on line for battery and got a number of different types.
Can anyone tell me what Ah I need and what cold cranking amps should be.The dead one in car has a 650A cold crank but have gotten different ones from online that say they fit the Omega.Petrol 3.0 Elite.

Car stuck at me dads so could only remember cold satrt value and not Ah capacity. Thanks

Be aware that batteries come in different sizes so the Ah capacity is not as important as knowing the correct physical size. I would suggest measuring it and noting the type and orientation of the terminals and mounting lugs to make sure you get the right type.

.. or just go to a dealer with your TC card and quote the part number, of course. ;)

Hi .Did you have any indication as to why the battery gone flat?
Is your alternator charging?Check out the alternator ,
before  splashing out on a battery which may hold a charge.
