Small Plastic Tubes?
« on: 02 December 2009, 13:27:12 »

Could someone tell me what the two small tubes shown going from a black box-like thing near the alternator and running diagonally from lower left to upper right and disappearing into the back of the engine near the bulkhead? The reason I am asking is, one of the tubes I have is open ended at the bulkhead end. Is this correct? Thanks.  :-/

They are the vacuum pipes, without it you wont have working multirams...

so your car will not be running as it should.

the layout diagram is here :

Wow! JimBob, a really quick reply. I can't quite see where the open ended tube goes though. I need a torch I think. Thanks.  :y

JimBob! I still cannot find where the open end goes! It is the one with the T-piece off it. I have found the other tube, it goes to the near side bulkhead piping.

On a footnote on the dark hole business! would me connecting the said open ended pipe into the hard to find orifice make a difference to my heating? Because my heating system seems a lot more efficient as it were!  ::) :D :y
