high fuel usage

hi all my readout screen indicates that i am getting 12miles per gallon around town, any suggestions whats wrong this is my first omega its a 199 2.5 cdx

change all the fillters (air oil fuel) and oil. and some injector treatment (cleaner) in the tank
I get 19mpg if I lay off the right leg :y

just a small tip when you change the fuel filtter put diesel in the new one about 3/4 full and have plenty rags under the old fillter or a drip try you will get some spillage.
when I change mine I tip the old filter into a white pale to see how much dirt is in the system.
and you need a 34mm socket if I mind right for the oil filter cap

mine is petrol but thx  the fuel filter has been change and it was clean

You have a problem if that's all you get from a tractor.
I get more than that towing a 1400kg caravan :y

I still got around 30-32mpg unchipped, towing around 26mpg..........admitted with a manual box and driving like grandad (well I am one anyway)
