2.2 throttle body gasket
« on: 10 December 2009, 19:27:30 »

Just done the breathers and throttle body but managed to lose the new throttle body gasket I'd bought. Is there likely to be any detrimental effect if i run the car with the old gasket in place? Cheers

No, shouldn't be any problem, short-term.  If there is an air leak created, it'll be tiny and insignificant, as long as you torque up the fixings evenly.

Thanks for that. I've just sent the wife off to get another.
Original one in poor condition.
