screen display in German
« on: 15 December 2009, 23:06:35 »

This is an very odd one had every thing working fine when swiched off the car and went into the shop, Came back out put the radio on and the display came up in german checked all the setting and seem right. The system is a 2013 with nav and a GID screen.

Any one know how to get it back to English...only been 20 min and its driving me mad :-[ :-[

Thanks
Steve

When I first got my car the screen display was all in German and the dealer couldn't reset it. I got tired of waiting and managed to reset it in the first motorway services. You are correct it is not the sat nav voice setting but it is there somewhere...... the useless bit is I can't remember where as I did it by trial and error and it was a long time ago  :-[

Keep going through the menu to the 'settings' tabs, or whatever that is in German.

No idea why it changed - or why the one in my car did between test driving it and picking it up......

I would guess that somewhere there is a setting called 'Sprache' (German for language) and that's what you would need to look for.  :y
