traction control

can the traction control be switched off completely,im no race driver but i like a rwd car so i can slide it around,but my elite keeps cutting in the tc!

press the TC button, the light will then come on the dash. Its then switched off.

As Tunnie said, but you'll have to do it every time you start up .. the "default" setting is TC working, TC light OFF... so it reverts to that.

It should be possible, if you're feeling a bit handy, to short out the TC switch internally so that as soon as the ignition comes on it registers a press and hold and switches the TC off.

I don't know if you have to wait to press the switch before it recognises that its been switched off though.
