New exhaust

Like the header says ive just bought a new exhaust for my 3.2 miggy i plan on escaping to my garage over xmas to fit it but do any of you guys know were i can get hold of some chrome ends as me being a scrooge have bought a cheap pattern one and i think it will ruin the rear end if i leave it as it is

But just to add - the only exhausts that came with chrome tail-pipes were gen. GM, but they've stopped doing the chrome trims on them now  :(

have you still got your originals? I did this and it worked a treat, there S/Steel not chrome, they polish up like new and will fit over your new end pipes as they did over the originals. Remove them by cutting/ fileing the tack welds. I used 2 pack liquid steel from Halfords to bond them on to my new back box to form the double skin effect as they originaly were.There!! Jobs a good un and cost nowt. :y

yes mate still got old one its still on the car lol . i`ll do that like i said gonna go hide in garage one day over xmas and fit full exhaust  ;D

Thanks for the offer mate be a bit weird for you working on your old car lol Ive allready had the middle sections of once had to put them back on when  discovered i needed a back box hopefully i should have the box on monday so might give you a shout  :y

Must admit, it's one job I don't do nowadays. (hate that rust in the eyes :'() Especially with a good local specialist. :D

I got some nice chrome trims from Lidl recently. About half the price of Halfrauds too. I'not sure they always have them in, though.
