sorry meant to say that with lpg your engine burns at a higher temp in the cylinders and this tends to burn the plugs....a better grade plug should eleviate this...

I find the GM 4 electrode plugs are very happy on LPG.

This was happening with my lpg system
even worse it sometimes took 10miles to change over to gas, then from then it kept switching back to fuel - very annoying

i got a someone whos in the know to look at it and he found it to be the water feed from the top of the header tank was blocked
unplug the pipe from the head tank and follow it to whereever its connected, sorry not 100% where that is engine somewhere

it was so blocked up no water was getting though, so he drilled the inlet hole where the pipes goes into on the headertank so water was feeding though propley
then got a air gun to blow though the pipe to make sure it was fully unplugged.

since then it worked spot on
the pipe was blocked meaning the water wasnt heating the gas propley therefore not making the gas hot enough to be used for fuel

try that, hopefully it'll help

you want to get it running right on petrol first, worth investing in a 'cheapo' tech2 from eBay, you need to get your codes read.  Which will help a lot....

How does it start on petrol from cold?

Its starts first turn but then is a little lumpy/jumpy, then the feeling as if it might stall when you first pull away. This only last 30-40 seconds.

Is this on petrol? Have you been loosing coolant?

Is your vapouriser plumbed into the header tank breather? If so, there will be insufficient water flow to keep the vapouriser properly hot. It needs to be fitted into the heater matrix circuit to work properly.

Where you using the 4 electrodes before? I have had no issues with twin, and would like to continue with those on LPG.

I'm using twins and they're fine... In fact, IMHO they're better than going down the NGK single electrode route :y :y

How did you identify the problem D? :)

Bought a cheapo tech 2 thing of ebay. It is the type where you plug it into a laptop with the software loaded on to it.

It pulled up these codes:

P0135 - O2 Sensor 1 Heater Open Circuit
 (04) - Present

P0030 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
 (08) - Present

P0130 - O2 Sensor 1 Open Circuit
 (04) - Not present

I then assumed it was the lambda sensor but phoned up a auto electrician who then confirmed my hunch when I told him the codes.
