yup it would, think the 2.0 box is rated to 250 of torques?? - R25? (need someone else to confirm), so unless you go nuts with it on a track or chipping it, should be fine.

What other gearboxs are compatiable on omegas, I mean is the manual gearbox on a 2.5 v6 the same or compatiable on the 3.0 and 3.2 V6

Since doing a few mods to the engine, I've been considering a manual conversion.
Do I need to stick with a 2.5 box or would a 3.0 make more sense? (215 bhp at last R/R)
If a 3.0 box should I find a prefacelift doner car for the clutch, Bell Housing and cylinder slave etc etc or will a 3.2 be ok?
Presumably the loom will take the conversion and I'll have to get Tech 2 to tell the car it isn't an auto any more?

Any ideas?

Clutch and flywheel will need to come from a 2.5TD manual car.  There is no chance the 2.0 or 3.0 flywheel will fit on a BMW engine

Yup, i used to say go for the R28, but as i have been corrected the R25's are fine and will last ok. Not like puting an AR25 behind a 3.0....

If your going to abuse it, and use on a track the R25 won't last long, but for everyday use it should be ok
