If I were you m8 I would set to and do the job myself. It is a straight forward one and only requires a basic set of kit. Just make certain that you only use the GENUINE VX joints! They are the only ones that will guarantee no oil leaks. The aftermarket ones will not fit correctly and WILL leak so you will have wasted your time and money because you WILL have to redo them. If you run a Mig you should have the basic kit anyway. Many jobs are described as difficult but in reality are pretty straight forward if you follow the excellent guides in this forum. If you get stuck just post a PM on the relevent section, they are very quick to answer. A torque wrench is also a must because incorrect tightening will cause either leaks or damage by stripping threads in the alloy components. For many jobs i use a 3/8 drive which is up to 12.00 quids from ebay and does most of the smaller jobs. I have used many of the guides and saved a hell of a lot of money. I actually enjoyed it knowing it was a job well done too!
Go on - a bit of muck under the fingernails is not that bad................think of the job well done satisfaction and being able to tell everyone you did it yourself! You can congratulate yourself afterwards with a well deserved pint or two, not while driving though!
